At 17-years-old, presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg came up with the idea for Chicken Shop Date, which started as a column and became a hit show on YouTube with 3.4 million subscribers.
The show has had viral moments over the past decade, from Louis Theroux‘s Jiggle Jiggle rap to Elmo’s appearance and her iconic date with Billie Eilish.
This year, Chicken Shop Date has only released three episodes. Announcing the news of the final season, she said: “I never thought I’d stop Chicken Shop Date, I thought maybe it would be a part of me forever, and in some way it always will, but I feel like it’s now time to move on from this adventure and onto a new one.”
2026 has seen Dimoldenerg star in a Super Bowl ad, land cameos in Industry and The Devil Wears Prada 2, and she revealed she is working on a romantic comedy plus a Skins-style show for the BBC. On top of this, she released series two of her F1 format Passenger Princess.
