Entrepreneur and lifestyle creator Grace Beverley is on maternity leave, and it seems Farron Clark is covering for her at TALA.
The brand teased its new maternity cover in a video with 130,000 views and 64 comments. The recognisble slick back bun and voice on the call pointed to Clark stepping in for Beverley.
The marketer-turned-creator has built a close relationship with TALA, from attending its press trip in May to regularly wearing and promoting its new launches. Given Clark’s background and affiliation with the company, it only makes sense that she would be announced to take charge – at least for a social campaign.
This is part of the wider trends of not only creators being given roles of directors and comms officers at companies, but of influencers tapping their cohort to cover for them for annual leave. Food creator Frankie Parker turned her holiday break into a competition among creators, which was a win-win for all involved.
