There’s no doubt about it, the world is obsessed with chocolate. In the UK, alone we consume around 660,900 tonnes of chocolate a year, with sales soaring in 2020 due to lockdown. It’s the ultimate comfort food, the perfect accompaniment to any emotion, or occasion. It’s only natural, therefore, that this fixation is being played out on the online world, and not just through the usual chocolate cake or ice cream recipes.

There’s also an increasing number of people talking and demonstrating the art behind chocolate – from exploring and replicating the intricate process of bean to bar, to sculpting creations that are almost too breathtaking to eat.
