Inside the draft Online Safety Bill – this is how the UK government wants to reform digital by 2023

In their pursuit to expand the legal duties of tech giants such as Facebook, Google, Twitter and TikTok, a joint committee of MPs and peers published a new draft of the Online Safety Bill. The 192-page report - released on December 14th - is also calling for communications regulator Ofcom to set clearer standards and have greater powers to investigate and fine these platforms.
