Key findings include:

  • 24% of top #ads focused on gratitude for the power of good products. The most effective advert in this category was the top sponsored post of the month – a Reel by gaming creator Theo Thomas promoting Turtle Beach’s new headset. He explained all of the technology’s features, detailing how they improve his experience. The result? A 40.6% engagement rate, 759K views , 98 relevant comments and 176 shares.

  • 26% of adverts were seasonal tutorials teaching a new skill. This is a shift in comparison to the rest of 2024, where top ads have documented exciting or unique experiences. As Q4 goes on, October’s successful influencer content suggests brands should commission Reels which show consumers how to do new things in relation to seasonal events.
