As predicted, tech giants including TikTok, Facebook and Alphabet (AKA Google) are tightening their privacy controls for children and teenagers. This move comes directly after the UK announced its Age Appropriate Design Code – 15 new standards for websites likely to be accessed by minors – goes into effect on September 2nd.
