Key findings include:

  • 36% of May’s top ads featured travel and experiencing new places. Exploration and holiday narratives performed well across multiple verticals. Content about brand influencer trips featured, as did GRWM posts. The main takeaway here is how a change in context on influencers’ feeds can suddenly spike audience engagement.
  • 70% of the top ads were by creators with less than 500K followers. 90% of the most engaging organic posts were also by this group. Creators who are 18- to 35-years-old and based in London were most prolific across organic and commercial content.
